The day we picked her up at Stargate in 2004.
Her name is Bailey.
Her parents were Gunner and Sophie.
She has had great hunting skills from the start.
Obeys hand signals when in the field.
Loves to play and swim.
Excellent with kids and in the house.
She will run and play all day when give the chance.
85 lbs. of love, affection and laughs.
I can't think of anything else I would want in a dog
Thanks David for the best dog ever.

David,
You have NO IDEA how happy we are with little Jackson! He has played
his little heart out..and is now sound asleep. It was funny because
Colby didn't know what to think!!! But, he won't leave the room the
puppy is sleeping in! I will forever have etched in my mind that moment
you opened the back of your car and those little, eager chocolate faces
were all staring at us!!! It was a sight to behold!!!! They were all
beautiful..I will email you one of those pictures as they were so cute!
I swear I could have taken all of them!!!!! Again, I want to thank you
so much for personally delivering..it tells me how much you like these
dogs and how you will go the extra mile (literally)!!!! Tell Jimmy
McBride I am going to give out Stargate Kennels name...you all are
absolutely the best! I hope the rest of your trip goes well and
everyone is as happy as the Kempton family!!!
Regards,
Peggy

David,
We are madly in love with him! He is so sweet..and exactly as you said..he wanders off...and Colby gets very upset and barks to get him back. It was really funny as Colby had to sleep in his own crate the first two or three nites after Jack got here...and we never crate Colby anymore though he apparently loves going in it sometimes! Now Colby sleeps right in front of Jack's crate every nite .Colby loves him as much as we do! And what is really amazing is that Jack slept ALL NITE the first nite! I was not expecting that at all..I was prepared for crying, but none from him! He seems to love his crate and I keep him there at nite and when we aren't doing something with him. He absolutely loves our cat, Tiggy...the only problem is Jack bounces around a little too much for Tiggy...he gets so excited when he sees him and of course, when Tiggy takes off running so does Jack! Everyone here at the museum is just crazy about him..and he really is SO SWEET! I bring him to work everyday..and he is either out with me or in his crate. I am trying to get him leash trained..funny watching me...I am sure! Anyway, you have NO idea how pleased we are that you took the time to drive him here...it tells me how much you care about these dogs..and we promise to take just as good care of him. He is running around Fruitlands like he owns the place. I have not put the pictures of when you arrived on my computer yet, but I will...as they are all so cute staring out the back of your car when you opened it..and I swear I could have taken everyone of them!!!! I will send them to you.
You probably need a huge rest after that whirlwind trip! You are an angel! And I know why you feel like Santa...you have old people like me in a state of childhood again!!!! Thank you so much!
Please stay in touch with all of us when you move!
Regards,
Peggy

Subject: Puupy purchased in March
Date: Fri, 17 Aug 2007 17:38:36 -0400
HI David, we wanted to drop an email to touch base with you since we “adopted” our wonderful puppy from you in March. Our story started out sad, as we lost our beloved Black Lab, Buddy in January to kidney disease. I attempted to surprise my husband by purchasing a chocolate lab from South Dakota and well my husband tried to surprise me with purchasing a chocolate lab from you. In the end it worked out that you picked up our puppy in South Dakota while delivering the puppy we purchased from you. So our new puppies arrived on the same day, which has created an inseparable bond between them. It meant so much for us not to have to fly the puppy in we named Dakota from South Dakota. We appreciate everything you did for us in helping us move on to a new chapter in our lives. This is the first time we have had 2 puppies and we love watching them play together. I’ve attached a couple pictures here for you. These pictures are from May when Junior was 6 months old and Dakota was 5 months old. They both weigh about 70 pounds now and it all muscle! Could you please forward us Junior’s guarantee. Also we remember that Buddy was Junior’s sire, but we can’t recall who the mother was. Could you please let us know? Hope all is going well.

David, Saturday, March 31st!
Thank you for the most wonderful well adjusted loving puppy! He LOVES to be with us, follow us, he sits in front of us to get his attention instead of jumping (wow), goes to the bathroom outside, sleeps in the crate most of the night, loves to chase balls and toys, takes wonderful naps on my daughters lap...prances around the meadow all happy bounding with joy all day. He loves his huge kennel where he is while we are away anytime - he plays in there during the day even if we are home.
You can take toys out of his mouth and he drops the toys in front of you to throw them! he is a perfect candidate for training - loves to be held and loved! couldn't of asked for better - he definitely filled the void from the loss of our other lab!
Thanks for bringing him out to us and caring so lovingly for him - we can tell!
all our best!
Miriam, Joe, Hannah, Abby and Tucker (the cat isn't too happy yet about Tucker!)

Hi David
Just wanted to send along some pics. Willie turned 2 January 10 and is such a great dog! And he is such a beauty, wonderful dark shiny coat. Very loving, and crazy.
His best friend is a 20 lb cocker spaniel - WIllies lays down and lets him climb all over him. At 90 lbs, Willie is the usually the biggest dog in any doggie group pic. He is not fat - tall and skinny with long sleek legs.
Thanks for the great dog!

Hi David, We bought one of your puppies and received her in December up here in Keizer, OR. I was just wondering when we will be receiving the paperwork on her so that we will be able to register her with AKC? I can't say exactly who the Dame was as I know she is not on your list and for the longest time I thought we were getting Sophie's last female but it was the litter before Sophie's but still sired by Buddy, that much I do know. :)
Well we named our puppy Sadie and she is doing great. Everybody that sees her says how pretty she is and usually "Oh my what big paws she has. She is going to be a big girl." She is already 43 pounds and growing. She is so much fun though and very smart. She learned sit, lay down, shake and roll over all by the age of 4 months. She knows stay and come but of course she is trying to learn those consistently and when she is far away from me. She started her dog classes last week and we are eager to train her. She is just as wonderful as we hoped she would be and my daughter tells me daily "I told you it was a good thing to get a puppy." I guess nine year olds do know a few things.
I also attached a couple of pictures for you. Sadie loves her two new best friends. I look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks, Bobbi Jo Shrum and Sam Bars

Dear David, Thank you for the paperwork. I've been calling #10 girl Angel. Now that I see her birthdate and how close it is to Christmas I'm convinced that Angel is the right name. Also, the Friday after you brought her I was called to Flagstaff due to a family medical emergency. No one wants to babysit a puppy so I put her in a cat crate and off we went. You trained her well. She mostly slept when we were driving. Occasionally she would come out, get on my lap and scratch the window and whine so I would stop immediately to let her out, even on the interstate. She was pretty good in motels, too. So in many ways she has already lived up to her name.
Thank you so much for helping create Angel for me.

I just wanted to take a moment to touch base and let
you know how great Gage is doing (#7 from Sophie's 1st
litter with Java). He will be 3 in a couple of weeks
& I can't imagine what our life would be like without
him! As you can see, he is only a little bit spoiled!
We hope that you are doing well and that you have a
very happy New Year! Thanks for breeding such

Hi David,
Attached are a couple of pictures of Koko, #10 from Sundae's litter, that we picked up last Sunday. She has been an absolute joy and such a good girl. She knows her name and is doing very well in her crate. We have trained her to go in her pine shaving filled litter box and hope to transport it outside in the next week or so. She was so tentative at the beginning, but the last day or so she has been a total puppy - biting everything in site!!
We took her to our vet on Thursday and she checked out great - no signs of parvo -- hope things are going well for you.
Attached is a picture we took last week of you with her when we picked her up and one of her in our home.
Best regards,
Sharon, Bob, Danny, Kelly and Koko Oosterman
